John is a native of Idumuje Unor, born John Chukwukadibia Nwabueze Obanor in Asaba to the late Olikeze of Idumuje Unor, Chief Ebenezer C. Obanor, a.k.a. ‘Let there be Light’ from Ogbeakwu Quarters of Idumuje Unor and late Mrs. Florence N. Obanor from Umuolo Quarters of Onitcha Olona.

John holds a B Hons. from The Hague University, The Hague, The Netherlands. He also has a BBA from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, USA. John is the founding Secretary General of Idumuje Patriotic Union of Nigeria international (IPUNi) and the General Secretary of Anioma Union USA, Inc. Dallas Forth Worth.
